I never really planned to become a decorator. I studied English philology, but somewhere along the way I realized I was much more excited by colors, flowers, spaces and the feeling of making something beautiful with my hands than by sitting with textbooks all day. So life changed direction a little — and I followed it.

Now I have my own business, a head full of ideas and a Maltipoo named Betty who behaves as if she contributes financially. She doesn’t. 😄

I love books, music, movies, dinners with friends and traveling whenever I can. Spain and Portugal are among the places I’d happily return to, but America is still on my “one day, definitely” list.
My tastes are not particularly glamorous, by the way. I can spend forever choosing the right peonies for a room and then come home genuinely excited about fried potatoes and compote. That combination probably describes me better than any list of adjectives.

If he says “I’ll call you tonight,” he calls. If he wants to see me, he makes a plan. And if Betty steals his place on the sofa, I expect him to negotiate with her himself. 😄
