My name is Jørgen and I am from Denmark.

For many years Ukraine has been an important part of my life. I divide my time between Denmark and Odessa, where I spend about half of the year. Because of this, the culture, people and everyday life in Ukraine are very familiar to me.

Over the years I have built many friendships and a strong network in Odessa, which makes the city feel like a second home to me.

I speak and understand Russian, which makes it easier to connect with people and daily life there.

During the war I have been involved as a volunteer supporting Ukraine. I help with hospital logistics, ambulances and humanitarian support, including work connected with the area around Kharkiv.

Professionally I work as a software developer and enjoy solving complex problems and building systems that work.
